This valve is easy to replace, unless it's really stuck in the valve body. The brass "pull tool" is very easy to snap off the threads in the cartridge, while arguing with it to break free. Oh, and yes I broke it off! I then proceeded to get two 6" steel bolts with the 10/24 thread size, and fashioned a tool to draw the old DW-CART out of the housing. I'd post a photo of my creation, but can't seem to upload on this page. Anyway, patience counts, and the result is a happy wife again.
